Publish and update from the server

The dotFX software distribution framework provides two main software distribution technologies. If you can be sure that your users already have ClientFX installed on their client, just drop the application to be published into the ServerFX application repository, to give users click-to-run access via a browser link or URI.

Alternatively, create a fully featured installer package with InstallFX. Distribute the installer by any conventional means for a single click install experience, combined with dotFX’s perpetual server side update, licensing and maintenance.

High security, high integrity on the client

The dotFX framework has been designed from the ground up to incorporate a high security, high integrity runtime environment. This allows users to download, install and run software with confidence that software running under the dotFX framework cannot access or corrupt anything on the client outside their own private application workspace. Neither can malware already present on the client access the application’s workspace.

For networked clients, any malicious or inadvertent interference with dotFX distributed applications on the client will be immediately spotted and transparently corrected.
