dotFX Technology components - AdminFX

AdminFX allows a server administrator or developer to manage ServerFX and provide insight into ServerFX load and activities. AdminFX is a pure Java application that leverages many features of the dotFX technology. AdminFX runs using ClientFX and is compatible with all ServerFX installations.

A different approach
AdminFX is a great example of how the dotFX technology framework delivers value through application. Using client-side execution, the application is local to use, fast and full-featured, right on the desktop. AdminFX uses mostly local computing resources so rendering, updates and other functions provide little load on ServerFX, the server-side CPU or network bandwidth; it can be open constantly if needed. AdminFX leverages 'server side' objects to communicate real time updates, and at the same time keeps data inside the ClientFX/ServerFX communication. As such no extra security exceptions are made and no TCP ports or embedded web servers need to be opened to support the management console.

Visibility
AdminFX provides insight into Server CPU load and computing throughput. Other load statistics and graphs include network usage, types of data, session management, working applications list, server objects, and network connections.

Consistent
Because it is based on the dotFX technology framework, it is not possible that AdminFX will become incorrect for the version of ServerFX over time, because AdminFX updates are instantly available from each ServerFX repository, thus keeping all parts of the framework synchronized.
